WELL DONE!! To the Bolton Hot Wheels Cycling Club’s members on raising over £250 from the Sponsored Walk and Ride that took place on the 30th August down the Middlebrook Way. The money raised will go towards the clubs end of year party which is going to take place on November 29th. |

CONGRATULATIONS: To the team of riders from BHWCC that went along to the Tour of Britain to compete in the go-ride skills competition that took place on the finish line of the last stage in Liverpool on Sunday 14th September 2008. The team took to the course that spread along the last 100meters of the finishing straight less than an hour before the race flew though to complete a finishing circuit of 6 laps of the city centre. The BHWCC team managed to win the skills competition against other Go-Ride clubs from the North West. The team of seven then stuck around to watch the race and pick up some racing tips from the pros!! Check out our superstars here. |

AGM: Yes its that time of year again when the Club’s AGM is due to take place. It’s going to take place in the Bolton Arena’s East Classroom on Saturday 22nd November at 10am. Please take this opportunity to have your say about the club’s past, present and future developments. |

CHRISTMAS PARTY: As mentioned in the Sponsored Walk news article the Christmas Party will take place on Saturday 29th November from 3pm to 5.30pm at Lostock Parish Church Hall. This is our chance to get together to celebrate all our members achievements throughout 2008. There will be fun and games, buffet and the Presentation of the Special Achievement Award. LAST SESSION DATE CHANGE!!! The last coaching session will now take place on November 8th rather than the 15th as previously advertised. This is due to a Bolton Wanderers home fixture that is an early kick off. |
